Gaining an understanding of how everything is interconnected will help you with any potential larger affects you may be having.
We can occasionally feel cut off from the outside world. We can feel as though nothing we do matters much and that we are alone in the universe. However, the reality is that even the most basic idea or deed, such as the choices we make on a daily basis and the way we view and interact with the world, may have a huge effect on both our own lives and the lives of those around us. An invisible bond binds the earth and everything on it, including humans, animals, plants, air, water, and soil. Even though your actions seem unrelated to people or the environment, they can nonetheless impact them, whether they are beneficial or harmful. Being aware of the interconnectedness of all things might assist you in contemplating the wider impact your decisions and actions may have.
Consider purchasing a wooden stool. The wood was originally a tree, and the tree was a part of the forest. The tree was cut down, the wood was cut, and the stool was built by paid workers. In the same way that the loss of the tree would have had an adverse effect on the forest or the animals that called that tree home, the income generated may have had a beneficial effect on the families of the workers.
A young child can be inspired to develop their gift by hearing positive words about their exceptional talent, which could one day lead to inventions that improve the lives of millions of others. A stranger reading a poem created for personal expression, thousands of miles away, can feel less alone.
You can consider the impact of your decisions by remembering that you are a part of everything. We can influence people we may never meet with the things we say and do. The first step toward living a more conscious life can be realizing how interconnected everything is and how you can influence others by your views and actions.
